The Blue Panda Kennel...has long been involved with the preservation of the breed at its best. We breed only on a very limited basis striving to produce beautiful dogs which are healthy as well as sound in mind and body and not to mass produce large numbers of litters. Dogs from our breeding have proved their excellence in Conformation, Obedience, Herding, Therapy, Lure Coursing and Agility as well as being beloved Companion Animals.

Established in 1963 Blue Panda set a standard of breeding training and exhibiting unsurpassed by any other kennel in the US. We enjoy enhancing the natural abilities of our dogs and encourage those who buy dogs from us to explore the many opportunities to enjoy life with their dogs to the fullest extent possible

It is this practice that has gained our more than 100 Champions over 250 titles and awards including "BEST IN SHOW", HIGH IN TRIAL and/or “BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW” in the USA, Canada, Mexico, China, Colombia and Europe.

We have achieved a number of firsts with the aid of the people who chose to buy a "Blue **Panda" such as the first 2 AKC herding certifications, the first "team" to win at an OESCA National specialty. We are very proud of the dedication that our puppy buyers have put into their dogs.

You cannot achieve this kind of success without breeding from healthy long lived dogs which are free of mental and physical faults. All our breeding stock are tested for and are clear of identifiable inheritable diseases and all dogs receive complete and comprehensive health tests before sale including “8 week breed eye exams”.

Our dogs are sold on contracts that provide protection for the dog, buyer and seller and include a lifetime "return to the seller" clause. We offer assistance in training, showing, grooming, breeding and rescue of OES. Puppies are sold by reservation. Tested adults are sometimes available. Stud services are available to approved tested bitches. Frozen/chilled semen options are available.
